The Naish HA 1040 and 840 are my go-to wings for everything these days. I will use the 1040 for Prone/SUP if the waves are small (less than waist height) or there is going to be a a lot of pumping to connect, otherwise I am on the 840. The 840 is the only foil that I use for wing or kite, and I am keen to get on the 640 also.
I used to ride the previous generation Naish HA 1040 which is a completely different wing and really should have a new model name. I was looking to progress my riding further and demoed some other brands before giving the new HA range a go. I found these wings were up there with other major brands top wings, and especially excel in responsiveness. The turn and yaw of these wings is amazing considering their wingspan and the low end speed is soooo low!
For reference I am an intermediate/advanced foiler, 80kg in cold water. I pair this front wing with the 64cm fuselage and either the 2D 160 stab, or other non-Naish stabs that are smaller than this.
